"The hotel is quite close to the station and the city centre and easily accessible. The friendly staff who checked us in were very helpful and efficient. The room was clean and had a good TV and drinks availability. As we were going out the cleaning team were working on the room upkeep and seemed very happy. Excellent quality breakfast, plenty of options and freshly cooked. Only slight criticism would be no tea or coffee in the bar area when we got back in the afternoon, but offered extra tea bags for the room. Would be happy to stay here again. "

"I visit Newcastle every 3-4 months and always stay at this hotel. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and nothing is ever too much for them. The property is very central to everything such as shops, train station, restaurants and local sights. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. "

"Booked with grey street as an upgrade to our usual hotel. We were not disappointed, in fact this will be our go to from now on, breakfast was absolutely delicious compliments to the chef, fresh pastries and poached eggs to perfection. Cleanliness of the room was superb. Everything was catered for including my request for a room with a bath and boy did they deliver. We will be back for sure. "
