"Great place. All the amenities you need for a week stay with family. Not to far from tram line, would recommend car hire as it’s about 30-40mins from Berlin city, closest shops are about 30 mins walk away. No air con, house is made of wood so does get hot in the day, got the pool to cool off tho so it was fine."

"We rented the house to be near the race course for the Erkner Ironman triathlon. It was the perfect base. Very short drive (or bike ride on race morning) to the course and our time hanging at the house the rest of the weekend was very fun and relaxed. The kids loved the trampoline and box of toys in the yard. We all also enjoyed the sauna. The house is very cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. The hosts are also super friendly and communication is great. I would definitely recommend. "

"Wir haben die Zeit im Sommerhaus Ella sehr genossen. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert ab und wir (mein Mann, meine zwei Kinder (3 und 6 Jahre) und ich) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war äußerst sauber, die Betten frisch bezogen und die Hühner waren ein Highlight für unsere Kinder! Auch der Kontakt zu Dirk und Kathrin war sehr angenehm! Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!"

"The apartment was a nice surprise to me; it worked just fine. I needed time to seat , read, and write and the peace of the place provided that. It is a little bit retired from the center, but public transportation is excellent around the area (and in Germany in general). If you are looking for typical air-conditioned home, you might be disappointed. The pool is small, but coming to Berlin is not the place to stay in a pool. Lots of conveniences stores and supermarkets, restaurants are decent around the area. The owner does not speak English but we did not have any problem communicating with them. really nice place. The Garden is a dream!!"

"Our large group had a wonderful week at Villa Salz. Plenty of space and facilities to keep adults and children entertained. The neighbourhood is picturesque and peaceful."

"Each of the staff was very good and helpfull. Breakfast was uniformly excellent. I speak no German, but they were patient. My only issue with stay was that i am big and tall, (180 Kg & 2M) and shower was small, however excellent. I would stay here again, but shower may defer others."
