"The Adina Hotel in Mitte was a really great choice for our family. We had one of the two bedroom suites that includes a kitchenette. I'd say that the room was a little bit worn out and could use some updates. Also, the room could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived. But, overall it was a terrific location and the staff is outstanding! I've hardly seen such helpful staff at the front desk. They were so nice and accommodating and welcoming. "We were in Berlin for the World Money Fair. 3 night stay at the Adlon. The location is perfect for any first time visitor - right adajacent to Brandedburg Gate. Check-in was a nice welcome, although as we were early one room wasn't ready. No mention of upgrade, despite my top level of expedia loyalty. No probs, though. The room was fairly average, despite paying for third best option. Two single beds instead of the requested king bed. The room keys are pathetic. Someone on a 'green...

"Nice hotel, felt nickel and dimmed needing to pay €10 for the pool and if I wanted to go in the sauna €10 (the latter of which was a step too far). Hence the lower stars, if I was there with family that would have mounted up as the kids love a swim when possible. Don’t expect that kind of approach from a five star hotel brand. Everything else was good."
