"Melia resort is good clean excellent ambience and exceptional servuce staff. Only negative this is far from danang city centre hence need to arrange your own transport and there is no shuttle bus to city from hotel."

"This is a very old school resort with basic amenities for the price you pay. The bathroom had stains and the corridor was damp. Wallpapers were coming off in some places. Located on the ocean, it’s great if you want a private beach to swim, but you are cut off from the city. Rooms are good sized and staff are generally good. The infinity pool is grand and they also provide kayaks."

"We booked 8 nights here. The hotel is well maintained and the pool area is pristine. The room has ample space compared to other hotels. The Wi-Fi and English speaking television shows and movies are a bonus. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and it has a wide variety of food to choose from. The omelettes are the best… made with fresh eggs. Most of all, the staff is a “top-notch” team who deserves recognition for their professionalism and attentiveness to details. We were amazed at how hard they work together to accommodate the guests. They always provided service with such wonderful smiles and a bit of humor! The desk staff (Ruby and Henry) really shine when it comes to providing recommendations, making reservations, arranging transportation, purchasing show tickets or tours, and tracking laundry services. We are now in Da Nang, and truly miss the Gemside River Resort, especially the staff. If we go back to Hoi An, we would not hesitate to book here again. Thumbs Up and hope to see you all soon. "

Want to Stay Here Again

"What an amazing stay! Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted us and let us take our time getting out of the rain while she prepared a hot tea and wash cloth for all of us. We were so happy with our clean the rooms were and how comfortable the beds were. We did the 3 room apartment style which was good for our group not to be separated. The communication was amazing too, our questions were always answered. The place was in a quiet area not far from the main area which we loved cause it allowed us to sleep well. Highly recommend Hannah’s House to stay in Hoi An!"
