"This lovely, small hotel had all the amenities for a Global traveler could desire. The brooms were more spacious than generally found in European hotels, the large bathroom was modern and large. We found all of the individuals working there quite confident, nice, and helpful. There’s even a very nice attached restaurant to the hotel. You can take a bus to city center or a 25-minute walk to the city center! Great place and more of a traveler than tourist experience."

More Gezelligheid: Rooms feel bare, especially in winter. Add more cozy touches. Portable Lighting: Belhops are nice but impractical without charging cords or extra outlets. "Loved the property — clean and quiet in that area. Bus to central station was nearby. Design of toilet floor could be better though. It was flooding as the water wasn’t directed to the drain and it flowed out of the toilet into the common area but nothing a towel can’t stop. Property was really pretty! Would stay again "

"A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for you. Located in the ideal location, on Amstel. It's a 20ish minute walk into the center of Amsterdam (25 minutes to Central Station) and around a 20 minute walk to the Heineken and the Van Gogh Museum. Some lovely restaurants around the area and the hotel backs onto Rembrandtplein, which features clubs and other restaurants. The National Opera and Ballet is on the other side of the water. I stayed in a twin room with canal view and lucked out with the 5th floor overlooking Amstel. The view was stunning. I slept with the curtains open so I could look out overnight. The room was spacious and the bathroom was in good nick. Great facilities in the hotel, including a mini self serve supermarket (including a Starbucks coffee machine) and air hockey and a pool table. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurants or explore much further, but overall had a great experience at the hotel."
