Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam

5.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1010)
"If you like historic properties, in a central locations, this is for you. Modern gleaming bathrooms offset the darkish, rich red rooms and interiors. The lobby is small, and we were restricted to the bar lounge for dinner with a limited menu of average quality. But the high ceilings and ornate finishes are the perfect antidote if you have had enough of cool, minimalist contemporary establishments. Staff were friendly and professional, though it took a couple of requests to have the shower gel...

Jan Luyken Amsterdam

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (423)
"Great little hotel. Recommended, particularly for the townhouse concept. Breakfast buffet, evening light snacks and drinks all included. Cannot fault the location if you’re coming for the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh, although Amsterdam is a such a small city using the public transport (tram and bus stops less than 2 minutes away) or walking are all easy options. Hotel Clemens Amsterdam

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (784)
"We've just had 4 nights at the Hotel Clemens with our (almost) 3 year old. After tackling the stairs you are greeted with a wonderful lounge offering drinks and snacks all day. The staff are all wonderful and cant do enough for you. Our little boy was treated like a prince and he has come home with wonderful memories. Yes the rooms are small and the stairs are steep but this gem of a hotel is worth every step. We cant wait to come back!"
