"This was my Second stay at Residency so this stay was more as a friend and less as a guest! I got a very warm welcome by concierge Rajesh who couldn't have been more delighted to see the passenger emerging from the taxi! His customary Good Morning Maam immediately turned into a shriek of delight. Sushant at the desk had very kindly already arranged for an early check in for me. After a quick freshen up in my lovely room in the annexe next door I went for breakfast where Peter welcomed me back!...

"I had booked a "Deluxe" room which was supposed to have coffeemaker and toiletries. All I could find was a cake of soap. Pros: good location. 5 minutes' walk to Chhatrapati Shivaj Terminus. Bed was comfortable. Cons: the room looked as though it had not been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. Bed linen and towel had to be changed. "

"It's unfortunate that the lift was not working, and the hotel is solely on the 3rd floor. The common portion of the building was undergoing repairs and it was dirty, but the hotel proper is very clean with good service. If you are here for the Cricket, Super Convenient!"
