"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"You enter the property though an out-house at the end of a path. There’s no working outside light so, if you arrive late or like to go out on an evening take a torch. When we arrived, the bins were overflowing, and bags of rubbish had been piled up along the path. The outside area doesn’t get cleaned or maintained so, if you like al fresco dining you need a stiff brush and bucket of soapy water to clean away all the rotting fruit, leaves and debris. "Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away. Lisa in particular went the extra mile, answering questions and providing...

"The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."

"The cottage was an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. It was very spacious, perfect for the two of us and we never tired of the amazing view. We hope to return once if not twice next year!"

"Our family of five had a fantastic stay at this spacious house. It's perfectly located for exploring the region and the host is lovely. While the house does show its age and can be a bit humid in certain areas, we were lucky with the weather and found the house to be well-heated. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the tea and biscuits, and the kids loved the selection of books. Overall, we recommend this property for a great family getaway!"

"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

"Perfect for 4 couples as we could all have our own bathroom. Bathrooms were all modern. Bedrooms delightfull. Lovey comfortable lounge. Great kitchen so we were able to cook and eat in the dining room We also managed to get a motor bike and a car in the garage!! Highly recommended "

"Absolutely loved our stay here, the secret door was the topper to a wonderful placw to stay. Yes it wasnt the warmest before the heaters kicked jn but there were.cosy blankets, additional heaters and a the warmest duvet ive ever slept under! Loved the great hall and the pool table. "
