"A beautiful house. Perfect for our annual family Christmas trip. Plenty of room to relax, lots of comfy seating in the cosy living room. The children loved the playroom. We had a couple of power cuts due to the bad weather but the host was in contact with us straight away to give us updates and the issue was fixed really quickly. We cooked a huge Christmas dinner in the spacious and fully equipped kitchen, and the dining room (complete with gorgeous, original stone floor) had a huge table big...

"Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was. The cotrage has been beautifully finished and all home comforts have been catered for.We managed to get out to the local pub on NYE and had an amazing meal and a great start to 2025."

"The property was excellent, everything you need for a comfortable stay, the double bed was very comfortable and warm. The only thing we found it was a bit far away to walk to the bar/restaurant, for our age group we are late 70 and early 80s."

"Enjoyed our stay, few issues. Advised off street parking but drive to short for average car and garage locked and filled with furniture. Water pressure very poor could not fill the bath at all as plug not sealing. Under Microwave very dirty and greecy. Cushions outside sodden wet,we dried and left inconsevatory. No control allowed on central heating."

"Large property that has stunning views. The rooms were big enough for 8 of us. The house was warm during the cold new year. We foubd the private lane so inly a short walk to windermere and its in a lovely area. Check in was easy, the kids liked the various gardens and we had a big new yrs eve meal atouvd tge large table. The multiple baghrooms were handy. "
