"We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. "We had a week’s stay at Orton Hall in Nell Gwyn Cottage. The front room and bedroom were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, but it all felt a bit dated. The grounds were lovely, but unfortunately it rained every day we stayed there, so we couldn’t really explore them. "We had an amazing christmas-time stay. The cottage was decorated for the season and we arrived to a warm house [thank you]. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and overall the cottage was decorated and furnished to a high standard. We loved the log burner and the owners had supplied ample kindle + logs. On visiting the local pub, we were made to feel very welcome. Perfectly positioned for some great rambling walks; the walk to the waterfalls was our favourite."

"The Coach House was a lovely quiet location for a relaxing week away in the Dales. It had all the essential amenities and was very clean and well presented. We enjoyed being so close to Cauldron Falls and that we could walk to the village shop and pub in 5 minutes. It was an ideal location for visiting Hawes, Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle."
