"We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. "

"We loved staying here! Kitchen had everything, inc. a cafetière, salt & pepper grinders, dedicated drawer of superbly sharp knives(!) & a resident kitchen spider who earnt her keep by catching a mosquito! The bed is huge - could easily fit 3 people! (Duvet cover is a bit noisy/rustles like taffeta when it moves, so light sleepers with partners prone to nocturnal limb flailing might be kept awake by this. The antique wardrobe was ace - I enjoyed the labelled shelves based on sartorial stylings...

"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

"Family get together for 2 big birthdays. Had a great weekend, only the CV didn't work, but after contacting, host the maintenance man came, gave us back the hot water supply and brought 6 electric heaters, so we were nice and warm again. Bedrooms are large, bathrooms nice and modern! Would definitely come back again!"
