"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Loved this cozy cottage in the perfect location Very clean on arrival & has 2 beautiful bedrooms with en suite which is an excellent bonus for sharing with friends or family .. showers were fantastic & lovely big bath too.. Great little downstairs loo The log burner was great on a cold evening so warm & cosy Very well equipped kitchen & with everything you need and more.. loved the little courtyard it was perfect for our little 4 legged friends Perfect stay and no complaints at all we will...

"Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was. The cotrage has been beautifully finished and all home comforts have been catered for.We managed to get out to the local pub on NYE and had an amazing meal and a great start to 2025."

"We stayed in July 2024 as a group of 13 (age range was teenagers to adults) + 2 dogs. Location is great with a good range of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance from the house and main attractions of Windermere a short drive away. 5 en-suite bathrooms were much appreciated given we were 4 separate families. Also a table we could all sit at at the same time also fab! Hot tub also appreciated!"
