"I picked this property after an extensive search and reading tons of reviews. As I prefer a house type accommodation, this fit my needs. A plus for me was facilities to brew coffee in the room, and a communal fridge to store my heavy cream. Milk is provided for guests in that fridge too. Furnishings were typically British, amenities were plentiful, water was hot, and bed comfy. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice. As a single female traveller, I felt very safe. "Vickie was very warm and welcoming. The room is lovely, a nice touch to have a chocolate on your pilow. The standout was the breakfast, one of the best ive had in a b&b. "

"Lovely hotel not too far away from the M6. Bed was really comfortable and bedding really nice. Food was nice and service good only problem was the numerous flies in the dining room. "Mike and Lynn run a first-class professional establishment. They provide an appropriately relaxed environment with excellent facilities. Our room was quiet, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortably firm. For those traveling by car, the ample parking in an enclosed courtyard is a rare bonus. Breakfast selections are prepared with care. Overall, the property and management deserve a five-star rating."

"We went as a family of 4 and our stay was great. No problem at all except we got a bit cold at night, but that’s it! Everything else was great. We got free parking just up the road courtesy of the b&b management and breakfast was also included, which wasn’t mentioned on the initial booking. So bonuses all round really!"

"We absolutely loved our time at Windermere Suites and Windermere. Vicky and Alex were very welcoming and helpful. We loved their advice on places to see, their helpfulness and good conversation. The breakfast was delicious and very generous with a wide variety to choose from. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with a massive spa bath, mood lighting and tv. Our stay here has certainly been a highlight of our European trip!"
