"Ultimately the cottage seems to be a home to the owners how they like it. Cosy, practical & functional. Absolutely fine for us and accurately described - location really good & parking great for 1 vehicle we have a discovery and no problem. We took a fire stick down but you can’t link that up to the network, which was unusual- no porch for wet stuff, but you can see this from advert so again prepared for it. Anyway really enjoyed stay and would book again. "

"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Loved this cozy cottage in the perfect location Very clean on arrival & has 2 beautiful bedrooms with en suite which is an excellent bonus for sharing with friends or family .. showers were fantastic & lovely big bath too.. "We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was perfect and the location was great. We were able to get the bus into Windermere and Bowness in the evenings (the bus stop is on the top road very near to the holiday park). We would definitely recommend this lodge."
