"Parking for Monteverde cloud forest is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is deep inside with no convenience stores in walkable distance. Hotels.com had incorrect location listed which made us go in circles to find the place. We used yoga room for yoga. They have kitchen. Road the hotel is terrible with many potholes. Driving in rain was terrible experience specifically when you are coming for the first time and have incorrect directions. "

"Be sure to calibrate your expectations: this is not a luxury apartment. It was, however, an excellent value. While the building wasn't new, the room was well-kept. We were able to find parking each night on the street in front, but had to relocate the car closer one night. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast of fruit, eggs, and gallo pinto was solid (especially at this price point). "

The beds were very uncomfortable; the bathroom was VERY small; hot water in the shower was unreliable; the bathroom smelled (we think from the sink); there was a small step down just inside the entrance and another into the bathroom that were potential tripping hazards; we were told coffee was available in the kitchen from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., but the door was locked...

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). "Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake. "The host is wonderful! A few fresh fruits, snacks and waters welcomed up when we checked in. She was so prompt on getting back to us quickly. The property is up on a hill and we got many opportunities to sit out back enjoying the volcano view. The property has its own private gate to pull car in at night. I can't say enough about the view!"
