"This its beautiful resort that has gorgeous grounds providing natural beauty. The cottage we had was modern, clean, with plenty of space. It was not lavish but in good taste. The staff and service throughout the resort are among the best of any place I have stayed. The only caveat - is that a good number of rooms are built on steep hillside. "Paradise found! Wonderful staff, beautiful location and intimate villas."

"Was an enjoyable stay. Property is divided into a beachfront area with pools and restaurants and the actual lodging area on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Our lodgings were a decent walk from the beachfront. Would have been a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues. They provide a shuttle service but that can be unreliable at certain times of the day though. Overall would still recommend though. Family enjoyed the beach a lot. "

"This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. We did not have kids with us...

"We enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Beach Resort very much. The staff are kind, observant and diligent. The facilities are highly maintenanced and both indoor and outdoor areas are kept clean, even the beaches are being swept, an effort that are highly apreciated. And most importantly, the kitchen there is really doing a great job. In all, we had a really time there."

"Incredible. Exceeded my expectations. Absolutely coming back here is I’m back in Lanta. Loved the area and hotel. Super quiet and comfy, plus very unique and situated in the jungle which I loved!!! My room was near the reception which was handy since some rooms are quite far. Breakfast was overpriced h recommend going elsewhere but nothing opens until 9am usually. Some awesome restaurants nearby! "

"We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. "Excellent stay. Ying was extremely helpful and made our four nights here a pleasure. The rooms vies were outstanding overlooking a superb beach. Although the hotel building is still in progress you don’t notice it. Lot steps to the beach but if too much hotel will take you. The chef is fantastic, so good was the food we ate here every night. Enjoyed so much thinking of returning soon just beautiful "

"I’d stay again. Property looks like it once would host more people. Staff great. Rooms clean housekeeping good. Food available was good. Included breakfast was typical Thai buffet omelet station, toast. Pancakes French toast Thai noodles sliced ham Thai sausages fresh fruit salad. Coffee cereal etc. only negatives perhaps it’s at end of beach. When you get off speed boat they will transfer you by long boat up the beach. Also hotel is built on the hillside so if you have mobility issues prob not a good choice Wonderful infinity pool at top. No beach though. Have to walk down a path 100 feet to hit the gorgeous km of beach As is typical, lots of garbage strewn in areas off the beach which is sad. Very quiet island. Stat there to enjoy relaxing, get a massage or two, and chill Beautiful water"

Hotel has bedbugs

"This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "
