"The photos in the listing are very misleading compared to reality. The so-called lake is actually a swamp, and there is no beach access. The WiFi never worked despite repeated promises that it would be fixed "in 15 minutes." Since cell reception is also poor, this is not a suitable place for remote work. The owner overcharged us multiple times. When she called a taxi for us, we were charged double the price we paid when booking one ourselves. We were also overcharged for laundry, with the final bill not matching the listed per-kilogram rate. The room itself had issues—my sister’s door handle was broken, and she got locked in (or out) three separate times. Additionally, there was a serious bug problem in the bathroom. If the door wasn’t shut properly, they spread into the room and bit us. While this place has potential, the constant overcharging and lack of honesty left a sour taste. I’d strongly recommend staying on the other side of the island, where things are more convenient and, based on our experience, the people seem much more trustworthy. "

"The location of this hotel is stunning, with the pool at the very top of the complex. There is a lot of climbing up stairs and slopes to get anywhere, but well worth it and I suppose the clue is in the name of "Cliff" Beach resort. The majority of the other hotels etc are at sea level and further along this east coast, so many have virtually no sun during the day, whilst due to the height of the pool are here, you can get sun well into the afternoon. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. By far the best place to stay on the islane in my oinion. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting in an ideal location on this tiny island. It is really idyllic. The hotel is a little tired but the pricing reflects this. We had a very comfortable stay. The dive centre was also located here. Transfers were also easy as the drop off / collection point was at this hotel. The staff were very helpful. "

"Our stay at Anda Lanta Resort was amazing! It’s hidden in a small bay at the bottom of Koh Lanta, close to the national park, waterfall etc. The beach was great and there even was a small reef close to the shore."

"Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."

"Best stay of our trip. The resort is the best on the island as it is nice with a big white sandy Beach but also closest to the good snorkeling. The food of the restaurant was fantastic and we felt safe leaving money and Kindles and phones in our room and on the beach in the bungalows. There is not a lot of people on the island and it was really relaxing! Highly recommend it! I think the only drawback that I can think of is maybe not allowing motorbikes on the resort until 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. otherwise fantastic!"

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"
