"When we arrived outside the hotel I looked at my wife and said "what the hell have I done". After the initial out look of graffiti everywhere, we got inside and what a hidden gem. I could not fault this hotel it's just a shame it's located in what looks like a ghetto. Staff were fantastic, super clean hotel and very comfortable. I was a little unsure of walking out at night but it's pretty safe. Try not to let this put you off as it is a gem. "

"Stay was average, the hotel building, entrance, hallway and reception were rundown, but the room was magnificent with beautiful panoramic views of Lisbon. There was a curious rotten egg smell after usage of the water appliances which wasn’t good, plus when they cleaned our rooms, did not take trash and used items like cups and mugs. "

"We had a lovely stay here. It is absolutely beautiful inside and so lush feeling with all the plants. It is in a very convenient area with many restaurants, cafes, and shops around. Also near Public transit. Check in and check out was easy and it's nice to have 24/7 reception. Room was clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again if I were to come back to Lisbon."

"This was our second stay here - we stayed 5 years ago, so it was just as good as last time. I think we had the same superior room which overlooked the road. Great size, very bright and airy (it had 2 large floor to ceiling windows), and nice bathroom (amazingly powerful shower) This hotel is quite quirky, so if you like one of those non descript hotels that are clean and modern without any character, then this is probably not the place for you. "I stayed at number 20, apartment 24. The property is very clean and well furnished, a room with a very good double bed and a kitchen with a living room with a sofa that should be changed. The big problem is that vis a vis there are 2 bars that play very loud music in the evening until 4 in the morning, you can hear it in the bedroom even though it is on the opposite side of the street. I do not recommend this property for those who have difficulty falling asleep or are light sleepers :)"

"The location and size of this place is outstanding. The unit was huge and the bathroom was the biggest we have seen in Portugal. Everything was walkable and the area was quite safe and easy to navigate. That said, communication with the host was lacking. Once we figured things out we were good to go though. Side note, you are right on top of the tram, so you can hear it running all day / evening. It really didn’t bother us and we actually thought it was funny. I’m not sure we would stay here...
