"Hotel area a little tired especially entrance stairs, room was good a bit cold on entry but soon warmed up once I worked out the aircon unit which is explained in a handy instruction guide. Food was very good and the discount for guests was a nice touch "

"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Great place to stop over The barn is nice and our room was spacious and clean (we were given the easy accessable room). The wet room was a bonus so enjoyed the shower and space. The small patio are would be great in the summer to enjoy the beautiful views of the fields. You will share the entrance and hallway with other guests. Kitchen has what you need facilities-wise and was stocked with all needed for a basic breakfast with eggs bread and crumpets as well as croissants. Local pub was really...

"We have stayed here many times before and since last stay downstairs has been revamped,only thing is looks like small single rooms have been turned into doubles,not enough room to swing a cat,washing in sink had to be done with bathroom door open,we never used shower as it was all too small and hard to manouevre round in,door had number lock on but lights never came on so that was frustrating,this was room 7,sorry but we wont be staying again."
