"The positives: The staff were very nice, the shuttle drivers were great and the cabin was clean. It was peaceful and quiet. However, if we had known that the cabin was 2 km away from the hotel, we probably would not have stayed. I booked it because of its proximity to echo land. However, the cabins were located 2 km outside of town, and although there was a shuttle it would’ve been super helpful to have a car. in addition, the cabin was very cold. "This is claimed to be ski-in/ski-out, it is not! More like walk far ski less... There are plenty lodges / hotels / inns that are nicer and have much more to offer which are much closer to the lifts... yes, this location is closest to the slopes by sight and air distance, but unless you have the means to jump 50 meters with a height to clear a gondola, you're better off choosing different accommodation ;-) They also claim full continental breakfast...That must be the joke of this century!...

"I absolutely loved Q Lodge. Myself and my boyfriend stayed there for 17 nights and I would highly recommend this to anyone heading to the Hakuba snow resorts. We found the customer service to far exceed our expectations. The lodge itself seems to be set up for shorter stay, which is an explanation for my only issue which was the cleanliness of the room. "This is a new hotel in Hakuba. The room is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has shuttle bus to Happo One and Hakuba 47. A rental store is right next to the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice. We also walked around to explore the local restaurants. We had a very pleasant experience!"

"Great spot to stay! Only 10 min walk to the ski field and plenty of restaurants around. Staff were lovely and super helpful, even offering a shuttle to the grocery store and bus station. Room was spacious and comfortable. Having a washing machine, bonus! Would definitely stay again. "

"Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. "Lovely hotel with great staff and very comfortable rooms. Really close to walk to the shopping street and castle. Coffee available in the lobby. We found Parking building easily available nearby, cost only 1200 yen for 24 hours. "

Great Onsen !

"The hotel was an easy walk from the train station & had welcoming staff to assist with your check-in. Room was comfortable with nice bedding. My only compliant would be the hard pillows. The Onsen was the highlight of the property. Beautiful surroundings, clean & had both indoor & outdoor spaces. Highly recommend ! "

"We spent two nights at this hotel in a Japanese style room. We found the room comfortable and spacious. I very much enjoyed the public bath in the hotel and visited AM and PM for a relaxing soak. The hotel is a quirky mix of modern and traditional and we appreciated this.We had a wonderful breakfast buffet each morning in the hotel restaurant and the staff was always gelpful and kind. We found everything very walkable to this hotel. The station, castle, art museum, shopping, restaurants and coffee/tea/sweets are not far. We would definitely stay here again and we really loved the vibe of Motsumoto!"
