"The property is very nice and well located close to a bus route, which made our transport into the city easy. The security of the complex is very good and we were confident leaving our car there the whole time. The property manager was responsive and helpful. We'd be happy to stay again."

"Great, quiet location - just a short walk to local shops, cafes, restaurants and Four Pillars distillery. There are numerous wineries, good bushwalks and a popular chocolaterie/ice creamerie nearby. Accommodation is modern, very well-appointed and comfortable. The Treetop Retreat has a lovely leafy outlook and a private terrace area with bbq. The only downside is that our stay coincided with a low intensity heatwave and we found the fan in the bedroom to be inadequate for a good night’s sleep....

"Very secure yard for dogs, everything we needed was provided. Lovely place, very clean and easy to keep clean with kids/pets. So convenient having a corner store and cafe a couple minutes walk away, and we walked into DFO with the kids a very easy stroll. The running track took me right to the casino complex in just over kilometer or so. Julie gave us timely check in info and was easy to communicate with. Would happily stay again."

"Stayed there because our daughter was getting married in a Yarra Valley vineyard. Close to Healsville. Very quiet location. House compact. New bathrooms, very clean. Great shops in Healsville. Abundant bird life. Lovely trees, especially the maple & rhododendrons. Underfloor heating was great, as it was very cold at night & mornings. "

"House was great with plenty of space for 5 of us. Beautiful surrounds with bonus of little creek down the bottom of the yard- my 12 y old even caught a couple of fish from it! "

"The photos are not reflective of the property. It was notionally clean until you look a bit closer…the beds looked like someone slept in them already, furniture was damaged, there’s no table tennis table, the outdoor furniture was filthy, the pool had glass on the paving around it. It was gross. We stayed one night until we could find another place (as Stayz never contacted me to find an alternative place). "

"We all had a lovely time. The property really is amazing. All was good apart from we were surprised there wasn't a BBQ (we didn't check before we took our meat up there with us!) and the bedrooms upstairs were very hot (it was 38' while we were there) and the beds in the bunkbed room were not comfortable - but all the others were great. "We spent most of our time enjoying the pool, and it was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming. However, there were a few details that weren’t fully clear from the listing.Communication was minimal, and while the house was left unlocked for us, no keys were provided—even after reaching out to the owner for the lockbox pin. "One in a million location and house. Was the perfect place to stay with the bridal party the night before and after my daughter’s wedding. We all had an amazing time and there was plenty of amazing back drops for photos. Thank you Frank for an unforgettable stay - highly recommended!!!"

"I took my elderly mother for a little getaway for 2 nights. 2 family members joined us for 1 night. Enough room to sleep on the couch for 1 night. It would be great to have the little cottage out in the garden as an extra bedroom (hopefully this is a plan for the future). Little bit of painting needed in the bathroom to touch up, but otherwise very neat and tidy. Steps are needed to be negotiated at the entrance and outside so need to be aware when taking elderly folk here. Loved the comfy...
