"We loved our stay in this beautifully updated two bedroom one bath flat near UCSF with gourmet birds eye maple kitchen, tastefully redone marble bathroom, great views, and forested park trails you can access in the neighborhood. The owner was a great communicator and brightened our stay with flowers, beverages, and fresh organic berries. Hoping to return. "

"Stayed at this great property for a mother-sons trip with my 2 young adult sons and it was perfect in every way! The large living area allowed us a fantastic area to enjoy one another. We could spread out, relax, talk, watch movies, read, etc when we weren’t out & about exploring the city. The location of the apartment could not be better: within short walking distance to small grocery marts, coffee shops, and lots of eateries on Fillmore & in Japantown. "Awesome place, everything we needed."

"Apartment was very spacious for two of us. It was tidy and clean, and a bit brighter than it looked in the listing pictures. Felt like a safe part of town, very close to Golden Gate Park and made a good home base to explore the city for a few days. Parking is on the street, free but with time limitations on most streets. Usually wasn’t an issue as we were out and about during the day. The only issue we had was at check in, we arrived a little over an hour after check in time and the cleaners...

"Location- Many negative reviews in regards to the surrounding areas. Don't be too turned off. All or cities have similar pockets of homeless people & run-down areas, but we didn't feel uncomfortable or threatened. People keep to themselves and generally don't bother you. Be aware of your surroundings & keep valuables out of sight. Decently walkable & MUNI transit is easy to access from the hotel. $5 MUNI day pass gets you anywhere.
