"The breakfast was great for us. The location was also great. We were able to walk from the bus station to our hotel and walk back to the train station for side trips. We walked to our cruise port as well. The hotel is undergoing a remodeling project. Our room was new and very nice. Once we figured out the temporary entrance into the hotel it was smooth sailing! I would stay here again if sailing out of Southampton city cruise center."

Will stay again. Convenient - grocery sore & pharmacy nearby, as well as McDonalds. Was able to walk to cruise ship - about 15 minutes. "

"We use this hotel as our overnight stop prior to our cruise holiday. It perfect for access, clean friendly staff plus a very short transfer to the cruise terminal. It is very close to a great shopping complex for any last minute items "

"This was one of the best places we stayed in a long time. All, really all was perfect. First of all, this tavern and hotel hosted some of the guests from the famous Titanic, and the premises are as beautiful now as they must have been, back then. Very well renovated and the upkeep is great. Nicely decorated rooms with complementary water for your enjoyment. We loved the little details to make sure the guests have everthing they might need in their rooms. Coffee, Tea, treats.There is no lift and the building is very vintage, but the staff is nice enough to help the guests with luggage. We ate at their tavern and the food was very, very good. So was the service. Great chef, all is very tasty. And, get excited about an amazing breakfast. A beautiful buffet and hot fresh prepared dishes to order from. Location is convenient short walk to the town shopping. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Visited for an AGM. Saturday night stay. Excellent as always. If you are going for a romantic stay worth paying a little extra to update to a deluxe room; still very reasonable in price, as not all rooms have been upgraded yet. Near all visitor sights and transport. Swimming pool a bonus."
