The rooms are a little worn and dated, but clean and serves well as a base to have a couple of days shopping. Situated right in the middle of Gunwharf Quays it is perfect to shop all day, drop purchases back to the room, shower and go out for a meal in one of the many nearby restaurants. Breakfast is really good, excellent variety of hot and cold options.

This hotel was a pleasant experience for me and my grandson. The staff were friendly with us and always happy to help us if we needed it. Our room was set up nicely for when we first arrived at the hotel, and we can’t thank the staff enough for their efforts during our stay at the hotel. The food there was nice, and was quick and easy to get. The surrounding shops in Gunwharf Quays provided things for us to do during the day, and even if we did get bored of that, there were other things to do. I would definitely recommend this hotel if anyone were to stay in Portsmouth for a short while.
