"Nice welcome from owner. Stairs are steep and irregular. We stayed on second floor. My metal frame bed was noisy and soft mattress. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast extra but go to pub next door for more choices/value. Unsuitable for those with access problems. Car park adjacent in corner of pub car park. My corner shower had high step in and was snug..."

"I was able to experience staying in a typical Victorian house. The owner made sure I had all I needed; he was prompt, cheerful, and polite. Groceries, fine dining, take-out, etc. are all nearby. I especially liked the charity shops where I was able to buy old books."

"We have just returned from two fantastic nights at Rondeva. The location is perfect! Warm, cosy and comfortable. Waking to watch the sunrise, whilst seeing the rowers on the river - just brilliant! Highly recommend and we very much hope to be back. The host, Chris, was on hand if needed but he has everything covered, so we didn’t! "

The door got stuck a couple of times. Kitchen and washing machine a nice touch. Some water damage from the room above resulting in flakes of paint all over the ensuite sink. Over the top Asians listening to ethnic music while cooking and then chatting in their own language was intrusive / off putting but that...

"Very small room, no lampshade no tiolet roll. Doors banging very loudly with no regard for other people. Smoking in the house which was unpleasant. Nithing good to say really. 40quid a night is ridiculous for that room."
