"Loved the hotel, beautiful room, great food, fantastic freindly and helpful staff. The only thing that slightly tarnishes the shine ,is the amount of construction material that seems to have been dumped around the grounds. As you drive into the property there are piles of aggregate and concrete blocks ,which are the 1st thing you see. "OK, so we quickly realised this place is being used for socially housing homeless/asylum/those in need. Receptionist who greeted us, young lad, very pleasant and polite and helpful. Breakfast which we paid for on the day was varied and just alright. "Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "Attended a wake at Kingscroft yesterday, also a few of us booked rooms and stayed over. The staff were brilliant from start to finish , food was lovely and fresh and kept being replenished. The rooms were lovely and big and an amazing fresh cooked full English breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend . "

"Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"

"Stayed over after a big family gathering in the hotel. Service during the meal for 25 people was excellent and staff were calm and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and pleasant. There was plenty of free parking with 6 @ 22kw electric car chargers with payment via an app."

A very nice, well situated and well run hotel!

"The hotel is well situated - close enough to be a short walk from the station but not too close! I’ve stayed before and have always found the staff very friendly and efficient and the hotel clean and tidy. First time I ate there this time a the food was also very nice."
