"Carina Hotel was in a perfect location! Easy walk to all the tourist locations(Grand Bazar, Hagia Sofia, basilica cistern & blue mosque) the public transportation line is around the corner and very easy to take! The front counter staff were so nice and welcoming and were there to answer and help with anything that we needed (especially Shams and Halil). Our cleaning lady (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was so sweet and made sure that we had everything that we needed and kept our room smelling wonderful. She was one of the nicest people we met in Istanbul! The breakfast was good and the beds a little hard for my liking, but overall the stay was wonderful and I would recommend to friends when they visit Istanbul! "I thought the property was very well maintained and its location is tremendous. It is located within walking distance of the Hagia Sofia Grand Mosque, the Blue Mosque, the Cistern of Theodosius, and the Marmara Sea. It was a quiet place to stay in the midst of a bustling and noisy city. The staff was very professional and courteous and welcoming. I thought the bed mattress needed to be replaced or repaired as had a tough time sleeping on it but otherwise we really enjoyed our time at the Hotel. Will definitely stay there again. "

"Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, and met by Ozzie on reception with a welcome drink. He explained about breakfast, offered trips and we were then shown to our amazing room. Great view from balcony, spotlessly clean and fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much food and lots of choice - we certainly didn’t need lunch after the huge breakfast. Fantastic rooftop terrace and restaurant with excellent views all around. Staff all very friendly and attentive and couldn’t fault anything. "
