"The lakes motel is probably our favorite place that we stayed during our whole trip! Everything is clean, the rooms have been redone... The bed was AMAZING and so was the shower, had we known we would have such a lovely stay, we would have booked a longer stay. The staff is just lovely and welcoming, offering tips and help, we felt great here.. We will definitely return! "

"Only got to stay 1 night but we were really happy with Mantra Lake Tekapo. We had a large 2 storey house with 3 spacious rooms and good bedding options. I was impressed that it was the first place, we've stay on our entire trip, that had 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets! Much needed for a family of 5 or more. The pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance but the Tekapo Pools were not far up the road and had great views. The lake itself and main shops is close by, easy walking. So pretty! Dining is...

"This was a nice motel, rooms were clean and spacious enough for our needs (i.e., mostly sleeping, we were out exploring during the day). "Our second time staying here on our NZ trip and just as enjoyable as the first. Lovely jig, older style hotel with plenty of room. Nice breakout areas to have a read, look at the sights or have a quiet drink. Room was spacious, very comfortable and breakfast buffet included in accommodation. Good Al a carte menu or buffet for dinner. Another great place to stay and extremely friendly and helpful staff. "
