"This is a grand hotel from a past era. We didn't want the fancy American Hotel - we wanted an older beautiful hotel and this didn't disappoint. The only downside is the neighbourhood is mixed - on the same street although the Eurostar is right across the street. However just a block away are all of the large hotels and the business street and once we realised this - then it was fine. We LOVED this hotel and will return. I love the foyer and after a long day we often sat and had drinks. The staff is wonderful. "

"Beautiful place to stay at, comfortable bed, quiet, great staff and great service. Lots of places to go to within walking distance. Lots of beautiful places to see nearby. Close to the México city international airport. My wife and I loved it. "

"Great location, clean, lots of car honking which wasn’t as bad as expected during the night. Staff was helpful for the most part but became noticeably put off when asked for extra coffee pods which unlike a hotel they do not replenish. Also no daily service. "
