"Excellent room and location "

"Welcoming and lovely humour on arrival. Room was perfect, black-out curtains were perfect Location great but it is next to a railway line so you do get the occasional train at night but i managed a great night sleep which is rare! Dining room staff were friendly and loved our dog. Food was terrific, not the cheapest but we were on holiday so who cares?! Breakfast filled us for our journey that's for sure! Welcoming to dogs even in breakfast and dining room and other guests just carried on without a care Stayed one night but could easily have stayed longer"

"Having discovered this hotel quite a few years ago I always try to book it if it’s available as it is quite superb.Great location and easy to find.Large free car park and always friendly reception staff,this time it was the charming Katerina who had a genuine persona and couldn’t have been more helpful.Very large room plus with added bonus of a bathtub.A nice welcome touch is the glass bottle of complimentary sparkling water.Saving the best comment for last, breakfast (most important meal of the day)You are spoilt for choice with the huge selection of hot and cold items.It is very rare in mainland Europe to get a good selection of hot cooked items for breakfast but perfectly prepared scrambled eggs,two types of sausages and bacon!! As a Englishman the only thing lacking was baked beans.The final nice touch is you are able to grab a takeaway coffee as you depart.Thank you to the owners, management and of course all the wonderful staff."

"Comfortable bed, very good complete breakfast and no expensive.at $10 euros p/p . The hotel location is in the city. (The only thing happened during our stay the street was closed for working, and had complications with the car to get there but that is temporary issue and only if you have to get with car) . Other than that hotel is.very nice and good updated. "

"The property appears a little dated but that may be its attraction for some. My room was on the top (second) floor but there is no lift and that’s awkward with luggage. Breakfast finished too early for me to take advantage of it. The en suite shower room was a very good, spacious room. The bed was adequate but not luxurious. I thought I’d booked a hotel in Switzerland but it turned out to be in Germany! Check out the border positions before you book.😁"
