"The food was great, as were the bar drinks. We used the breakfast facilities which again were great, a nice amount of time to be able to have your breakfast each day. Plenty of parking. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was large and very comfy. The bathroom as spacious and all modern looking. Will be staying again "

"We have stayed at the Moat House several times, and always eaten in the restaurant. We have always found the rooms to be spacious, clean and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant, both evening meals and breakfast very good. "

"As returning staffordians this was our first stay at the swan hotel. We had booked in for four nights for our wedding,we also booked our wedding breakfast for our guests at the hotel. We cannot fault the service we were given, the staff were incredible,tending to everyone's needs, the food was delicious and it was all set in a very relaxing atmosphere,we couldn't have wished for anything better, would highly recommend"

"We had a very nice stay at the Lion. It's a fascinating old building in a great central location. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the bed was comfortable with great pillows. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is a little frayed around the edges, but that adds to the character! The staff were all lovely and very helpful."

"Very friendly check-in service, couldn't have asked more from this lovely lady. On arriving in the room it was freezing, the windows were open and the heating off, this was probably down to them trying to get rid of the wet dog smell. Other than the smell, the room was spacious, tv worked, hairdryer to use and shower gel provided with one large towel and one small. Extra pillows were available in the wardrobe. We left around 8am, the reception desk wasn't open at this time but we didn't need anything so used the drop box for keys and left. The car park is free for customers of the hotel, you register your car with them on arrival. Cheap and cheerful, would stay again. Purpose of the stay was for the local parkrun which was about 15mins away. Wetherspoons is also about 15mins away. "
