"Staff were very good and helpful. Lady on front desk very pleasant on check in. And the meal in the restaurant was delicious 😋 and the staff in the restaurant very good and helpful with my coeliac diet. Only negative was the wall's were paper thin and we could hear everything from next door. Especially in the bathroom. We did enjoy the stay. Was easy to walk to the bridge from the hotel as well. "

"Have stayed here before for work, property is convenient with breakfast and evening meal included in the price. Options in the restaurant for evening meal are pretty good, but it is cafeteria style. No irons available for the rooms, but there are areas with irons and boards available. Rooms are generally okay but some areas where it is getting tired or damaged."

"Room was clean, plenty of tea and coffee makings! Pub closed at 10.00pm which was great as rooms were above the premises. Comfortable bed. A fair price for the room. All in all a very positive experience! Thank you!"

"I loved staying here with my son. The owners and staff went over and above all expectations to accommodate my neurospicy son. The building is honestly amazing, the renovations bringing the charm of the original architecture through. The bar and grill areas are welcoming, chilled and very laid back. It feels like sitting on the sofa at home 🤣. I will definitely be coming back very soon, I have more exploring to do ❤️"

"We had an excellent time at Slater's and would willingly recommend a stay there to family & friends. The Staff were unfailingly helpful & friendly, and the evening meal was appreciated by all four of us. A good choice of real ales was a bonus too. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of car parking space available. The two lads were amused by the noisy and obvious sexual activity in the bathroom above Room 6. Fortunately, no water came through the ceiling. Hope the cleaning staff...
