"The room was clean & tidy although some of the furniture had marks on them view from window was stunning breakfast on first day was ok the beans were just warm bacon could have been cooked more second day was better had a muffin with scrambled egg which was a little runny for my liking but it was hot breakfast room does get busy as it's quite small where you help yourself to cereals etc staff are very polite and helpful "

"We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist and this set the positive scene that was repeated by all the staff we met for the whole of the visit. The food was excellent along with the service that came with it. The hotel is as expected ie an old building in need of some repair that was full of atmosphere and history. 2 night stay in the Gwydyr Hotel Betws-Y-Coed.

"An excellent 2 night stay in a single room in the Gwydyr Hotel, Betws-Y-Coed. My room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We were a party of 7 plus a dog celebrating a 50th Birthday. We ate in the hotel both evenings and we all enjoyed our food. The breakfast menu included continental and cooked food which was well presented and delicious. There was plenty of space to relax in the comfortable lounges. All the staff were were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricewise I would say that it was good value for the level of comfort and service. All in all I would recommend the Gwydyr Hotel when staying in this beautiful part of Wales. "
