"The venue is in a beautiful historic building. The facilities are great including a pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Room was lovely however, there was a very strong smell of sewerage from the bathroom, there was definitely a build up somewhere which we did report on check out. This was Room 17 and in the corridor you could smell it a little. They said they would speak to maintenance and sort it. But overall, a lovely little valentines trip with the other half. Would defo return. "

"The staff members were so amazingly helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler with a cane I struggle with stairs and excessive walking but the staff helped me to my room when I arrived and Katen even helped we all the way to the train platform across the way when I left. While this location is remote the charm and guality mke it a beautiful destination stay and the food was to die for. I had one minor issue in my room and they resolved it while I was out so 5/5"
