"the room was excellent although the carparking area underneath the rooms was extremely filthy and was a smoking area and that smoke drifted into the open windows above. Pretty ghastly for non smokers. The rooms could benefit from some maintenance. but is not drastic."

"The studio we had was amazing. It was clean with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven, fridge, sink, crockery, cuttlery and dish washing liquid and brush. The third bed was in a separate room within the studio. The hotel is conveniently located close to various restaurants and about 15 mins walk to Battery Point and Salamanca. There is free onsite parking. The area seems safe at night."

"Stayed one night, easy check-in and parking was close by. The room was very clean, good shower but does spread the water around. The bed is comfy and linen is good quality, convenient location and the meals in the bar/bistro are excellent. "

"Lovely place for our 5 night stay. However as we were staying 5 nights or less the rooms were not serviced, so hadvto go to reception everytime we needed our towels replenished. There was no allocated parking so we only got to park outside our room once. One night we had to park on the other side of the complex as 3 motorbikes had taken up a whole park each. It was a pity there were no seats outside as we had some lovely days and it would've been nice to sit outside. Overall we had a good stay...

"I have stayed at The Marquis on 2 occasions and both times had a great visit. From check in to check out it’s been great. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are great so a good night sleep is on the cards. Location is quiet and the surrounds are beautiful. The view is top notch. The meals at the pub are excellent and good value. I will be back and can definitely recommend. "
