Stayed in a private double room, and couldn’t complain about a thing! Loved sitting outside on the balcony enjoy the sunshine/moonlight and chatting with other guests. Place was spotless, quiet, homey and in a perfect location (with private car parking!)

We loved our stay. There’s a great atmosphere at Montacute, so definitely stay if you want somewhere relaxing and quiet, but pleasantly buzzy in the kitchen during the evenings, with great conversation. Rooms are lovely, great views from upstairs, super value. We loved it, would return if we were ever in Hobart again.

Great place to stay!
This bunkhouse was adorable and very delightful to stay in! The owner met me upon arrival and gave me a thorough tour of the place which was very nice. My room was cozy and the bed was comfy. Everything felt clean and I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Hobart!

Lovely place to stay
Beautiful and clean hostel to stay at. Pretty close to a lot of nice restaurants and cafes, in a calm and beautiful neighborhood. I’ve stayed in many hostel es before and this is the best without a doubt. Would recommend and will be staying here again whenever I have the opportunity. Important to notice: this is not a party hostel and it is more of a relaxed environment.
