"Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."

"Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. Me and my family were able to many meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, utilizing local meats and produce. We are all looking forward to the next visit we will make, and are sure to be...

"The house was as described. Very well appointed. Spotless. Quiet with a relaxing view out the window. We saw the northern lights right off the back deck- amazing! Check in process was very easy. Great location for heading to the north, the Golden Circle, Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Multiple locations for natural soaking baths, one just a few minutes down the road. The house has bedrooms on both sides with the living area in the middle so great for multiple couples or several adults ( my party)...

"We had a great stay even though the floor hadn't been swept at all. I found a broom and swept it. When getting ready to leave (after two nights) looked under the bed and hadn't been swept there either. But, on the positive side - nice place to stay - the Northern Lights were great, amenities (fridge, washer and dryer and location) were great. The beds in Iceland aren't the normal US twin, a little skinnier, but we got used to that. Know that they in Iceland they just give you a duvet, no top...

"This hotel room was located in the heart of Reykjavik and met all of our needs. Please be aware that the balcony is shared amongst all rooms on that floor. There is no front desk staff at all. All communication is via phone or email. The VRBO listing said 2pm check-in but I was notified via email the day of my booking that check-in was 3pm. This is irritating after traveling overnight. They also provided us the incorrect door code two times to get in the building. They were quick to answer...

"The accommodations were excellent. Great location. However, if you’re going to charge top dollar, I would have liked to see a few more amenities. For example, there should be tissues & paper towels available. And the bathroom towels should be replaced. They felt old, not soft & not very absorbent. An investment in higher quality towels goes a long way. Overall it was a nice property, spacious, comfortable and met our needs. "

"Michelle was lovely and the house is very fun with all the art. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. For us it wasn't five stars because none of the bedrooms had any side tables for the beds, there were also no side or coffee tables in the living room, the wind woke us up a couple nights and it wasnt even a storm or anything , that's the usual (obviously not anything Michelle can do about that), and the sulphur smelling hot water was really pungent (again, not the owner's...

"This property, the traditional modeled modern version of an Icelandic house they built on it, its distance to both Reykjavík and Borgarnes worked for us. We caught northern lights nightly from the patio, walked the beach at low tide all in total privacy. Bara Borgarnes for dinner we had to repeat was less than a 10 min easy drive when weather was less distance friendly. The drive to Reykjavík typically took us 45 mins. The host and accommodations were spot on and you should not hesitate...

"I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel. The room was huge, had a full kitchen, a nice size living room, two TV's. It was just fantastic. The only small complaint is the shower is really small even though the bathroom was big enough for a bigger one. It's right in the heart of the city with walking access almost everywhere. The staff was amazingly attentive and arranged all of my cabs the entire trip. Iceland is an expensive place, but the quality here...
