There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. "Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."

"The house was as described. Very well appointed. Spotless. Quiet with a relaxing view out the window. We saw the northern lights right off the back deck- amazing! Check in process was very easy. Great location for heading to the north, the Golden Circle, Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Multiple locations for natural soaking baths, one just a few minutes down the road. The house has bedrooms on both sides with the living area in the middle so great for multiple couples or several adults ( my party)...

"We had a great stay even though the floor hadn't been swept at all. I found a broom and swept it. When getting ready to leave (after two nights) looked under the bed and hadn't been swept there either. But, on the positive side - nice place to stay - the Northern Lights were great, amenities (fridge, washer and dryer and location) were great. The beds in Iceland aren't the normal US twin, a little skinnier, but we got used to that. Know that they in Iceland they just give you a duvet, no top...
