"This was the best place we stayed during our recent trip to Iceland with 2 adults and 3 children. The location was very convenient to a variety of nearby attractions including Snaefellsness & Husafell, as well as to Borgarnes, the local town where we shopped for groceries at Netto. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals during our stay and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after long days of sightseeing. Definietely would return to stay here...

"This little cottage is perfect for exploring during the day and having a place to sleep at night. The unit had kids toys which our 2.5,3&4 year old loved. We had two families so one set of adults had to stay in the attached building. The area is charming and quiet. We loved the stay. The check-in process through the gate wasn’t working with our USA phones, but a kind couple behind us got us in. Not sure what the problem was. Highly recommend for two small families or one large family!"

"We rented both houses Bakki and Holt for our extended family. It was perfect. They are connected by a quick path through the woods. Great location outside of town but close enough for easy access to grocery stores and liquor store. We used this as a base to explore Snæfellsnes peninsula. Farther out on the peninsula quickly becomes very empty and hard to restock. "

"We are parents and 2 adult children. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and well thought out with all necessary needs. It is very quiet and lovely for those who are not city folks. We enjoyed many road trips from this spot on our short stay. We would certainly recommend it for exploring the west country, which is fascinating. "Absolutely love this cabin! It's warm, cosy and situated in the most perfect surroundings, away from the roads & no neighbours in sight. It has 360 undisturbed views, we sat in awe watching sunsets there every night. The cabin has everything you need, beds are clean & comfy, all rooms are well ventilated. The cabin doesn't have TV with English speaking channels but we're ok with that because we're there for the outdoors stuff, and the mountain views kind of made up for it all. We spent an...

"Great location and quiet setting, close to nature. Good condition of the cabins, although we could not figure out the TV signals - not our priority since we wanted to experience the outdoors. Everything else works well and you feel comfortable. On the dow side, the mosquitoes wouldn't allow us to sleep well. Suggest replacing windows blinds with a darker color to provide shade at night during Summer."
