"Great place, far away from everything, so buy from a store what you want because no grocery store in radius of 50-60 km. Because it is distant from lights we managed to see the Northern lights for the first time there :)"

"We booked a week in November ‘24 for my 80th birthday bucket list to see the Aurora. Although weak we did see it several times. Perfect beautiful house and location. Very highly recommend this place. Iceland scenery is a “wow” round every corner!!"

"Nice cozy and comfortable cottage has everything for a perfect vacation! The host is friendly and prompt in communication. We had a great time!"

"The property was clean and maintained. The kitchen had most items needed for cooking, although a microwave would have been a good addition. The sauna was great, but the hot tub wasn't filled when we arrived and never was usable for the evening. Staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"The house delivered everything we hoped it would for our family trip incl. Kids and 80years old seniors. Convenience to store while being far enogh away from others allowed us to observe an unforgettable show of the aurora. Proximity to silver loop attractions and peninsula of snaefellsness was perfect for our day trips wothout having to spend toouch time in the car. "

"Nice cottage under the mountain. Easy access, about 1.5 hours from Keflavik Airport by car. Very good option for a stopover to west or north of Iceland."

"We absolutely loved staying here! The views were breathtaking. The location allowed for a quiet, peaceful stay with the ability to see the northern lights without light pollution, and was not far from many sites and attractions. The property was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our time there. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would love to stay here again!"

"This cabin makes great use of space and we had a wonderful time with our 2 kids. The hot tub has an amazing view and although there are nearby cabins, it felt very peaceful."

Magical northern light show on a cold winter night.

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

There´re only about 30 meters between the two houses with nice walking path.

"Beautiful homes; we would definitely return! 10 of us enjoyed our stay at these two lovely homes. Both houses were clean, spacious, and well stocked. The windows in the main house were especially wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes for our large group to have home cooked meals at the large table. We had trouble getting the lock box open (likely frozen shut) and the key to the second cottage was tricky / sticky and needed some extra finesse to get in/out....

"We are parents and 2 adult children. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and well thought out with all necessary needs. It is very quiet and lovely for those who are not city folks. We enjoyed many road trips from this spot on our short stay. We would certainly recommend it for exploring the west country, which is fascinating. Many thanks to our hosts for this little piece of heaven."

"Absolutely love this cabin! It's warm, cosy and situated in the most perfect surroundings, away from the roads & no neighbours in sight. It has 360 undisturbed views, we sat in awe watching sunsets there every night. The cabin has everything you need, beds are clean & comfy, all rooms are well ventilated. The cabin doesn't have TV with English speaking channels but we're ok with that because we're there for the outdoors stuff, and the mountain views kind of made up for it all. We spent an...

"I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel. The room was huge, had a full kitchen, a nice size living room, two TV's. It was just fantastic. The only small complaint is the shower is really small even though the bathroom was big enough for a bigger one. It's right in the heart of the city with walking access almost everywhere. The staff was amazingly attentive and arranged all of my cabs the entire trip. Iceland is an expensive place, but the quality here...
