"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"If you book here, you will receive check in instructions via email - which likely will go to your spam, so check there! I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...

"Peaceful and cosy"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. We would have loved to stay longer!"

"This cottage is well placed for exploring the west of Iceland, with Snaefellsness Penisula, Reykjavik and the golden circle route all within easy driving distance. Shopping and cafes can be found in Borgarnes, about 10 minutes drive away. It also provides a good view to the north and west in the event of Northern Lights. "We had a lovely, unique stay in that remote cottage. We loved the quietness, coziness and the big sky. Really enjoyed the mountain and sheep in the background. Did I mention we were fortunate to wath the northern lights for hours?"

"The cabin was charming and comfortable, and the property is surrounded by beautiful wild flowers. The sauna heats up quickly and is spacious. The private setting makes for a great sauna session. We really appreciated the extra towels for use in the sauna. Make sure to take some Nespresso pods with you to enjoy your morning coffee next to the gorgeous big windows.
