"I have stayed at The Fleece mutiple times over the years. It is exactly what a non UK resident would expect. A charming, beamed, English Pub with a pretty good restaurant but with the added benefit of being able to walk into town. There are rooms in the pub above the bar/restaurant and rooms located in a converted barn located in the courtyard. The rooms are spacious and equipped with the basics. "The hotel gave me a room with a gorgeous roll top bath as I had requested, so I was very grateful to enjoy a luxurious soak. I also was very happy with the breakfast; you can order anything off their menu, however it was inconvenient that breakfast wasn't served until 8am because I had a to be at a seminar in the centre of Oxford by 9am and I ended up arriving there late. I also could not find the car park so had to pay for the long stay. "

"We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable.
