"Super location with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean & Volcanic mountain. Owners very helpful & amenable right up to check in. Unfortunately when I advised that we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment & backed this up with photos they became very defensive & dismissive - frankly quite rude claiming that it was - quote “impeccably spotless“ we clearly have very different views on clean! The balcony was filthy with thick traffic grime all over the railings along with dirt,...

"A lovely spacious apartment and always quiet. Cooking facilities are poor with just a microwave and a hob which didn't respond most of the time. Don't leave any food out...even a few toast crumbs and you have ANTS. Very short walk to the tram which takes you to the centre and the bus station. Bed very comfortable and apart form the cooking the place is really well appointed. If you don't intend cooking there its superb."

"If you want a place away from the resorts with a beautiful view this is the place to be. Beautiful views and still a great place from which to explore the island. I would recommend hiring a car. I booked a Toyota Aygo but at the airport it was suggested that I take a higher powered car because of the incline to get up to the property. In the end I got a Renault Clio. If I had known this ahead of time it would have saved me money as I had to pay extra for the upgrade."

"Tha apartment overlooks the sea and you can hear the waves crash below. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk. The area has many nice places to eat and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It is a 15 minute walk into town where there are many more restaurants and shops. Lovely spot to walk around and the are many lovely cafes. Loved our 3 weeks here."

"My husband and I enjoyed 6+ weeks at this property and we were not disappointed. Communication with the owner(s) was quick and easy. We were very comfortable there and the condo is cozy; the pictures are accurate. During our time there we cooked most of our meals but did manage a dinner out per week as well as the occasional lunch. We didn't mind the walk up the hill at all and usually our walks involved a trip to Playa de Martiánez and beyond. We had a car to explore the island more and enjoyed...

Lisäksi heti lomamme alussa astui voimaan Corona-viiruksen aiheuttamat liikkumisrajoitukset, joka muutti lomamme lopullisesti. Arvioni koskeekin vuokraisäntäämme Thomasta, joka teki kaikkensa, jotta olomme olisi vaikeista olosuhteista huolimatta mahdollisimman hyvä. Olisimme olleet todella pulassa ilman Thomaksen apua ja emmekä olisi päässeet kotiin omin voimin....

"Beautiful property. Very helpful, kind and welcoming staff at the hotel and restaurant. Nice music and show at dinner time. Beautiful pool with easy access (ramp and easy stairs as well) nice architecture. Wonderful stay!!!!"

" There is nice blend of intimacy and ease with great staff service. I noticed a guest arriving who required quite a bit of attention and really put the staff member through some work. When all was done, it appeared that the guest was expecting valet service and the staff member took it upon herself to walk the guest to the elevator which was above and beyond what she was expected to do. Only critique, I originally booked a king size bed and discovered two twin size beds. I didn't make a big deal about it as it was during the carnival time which I imagine is very busy"

"Service and facilities were fantastic! Everyone was friendly, helpful and courteous! Room was lovely and spacious. Our room had a view of the garden and turtle pond. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and beverage options. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel is set at the back of Puerto de la Cruz, but has good views across the town. There is parking, and at the time of writing, the cost was €10 per night. Although parts of the hotel are a little dated, it is clean, and well run. Staff were very friendly. We had the all inclusive. The food was a good variety of Spanish and International cuisine, and there was plenty of choices. The hotel had plenty of amenities, such as gym, tennis court, table tennis, petanque and pool to name a few. The hotelbhas extensive and well maintained gardens. Every evening there was entertainment each from 9-10.30ish, which was usuallya variety act. There is a free bus into town several times a day. The hotel lobby also has a an excursions booth. The room i had was large and clean with daly housemaid service. I really enjoyed the experience of The Blue Sea Jardin."
