"My favorite motel I stayed at, on a recent Roadtrip! It was also the best priced - quite reasonable for how clean and comfortable this room was! The service was excellent, and the housekeeping crew was also wonderful. Everything was very clean! (Thank you!) Very convenient layout (both rooms and parking). The parking lot is well-lit. There is a Vietnamese restaurant on the same lot (can't speak for the food, although it appears to be excellent). The appliances room worked well and were clean. Decent size mini-fridge. The decor in the room was actually very beautiful photos of the Golden Gate bridge! As a traveler, I really do appreciate those details - they just make for a more peaceful stay... I also appreciated how safe I felt as a solo traveler at this motel, after being helped by Kevin at the front desk, who was nice and patient with a weary traveler! There is coin laundry on the premises; acquire quarters beforehand if you need it... Also, in these more rural areas, it's always a good idea to carry some cash, as not all businesses take card, and the wifi this far north can be spotty. Cash also goes a long way when tipping and supporting the locals and businesses of this special town and region :) Ukiah was beautiful!! Very walkable. Very kind people... This property, Days Inn by Wyndham Ukiah, was a great choice while in Mendocino County - I highly recommend staying here."
