"This was my first time on the West (countryside) of the island so, it was quite different! Yuri and Diamond (staff) made the trip memorable! They set me up with groceries in the frig and helped me secure a vehicle so I could explore the beautiful beaches. I enjoyed myself and was sad to leave :-( Thank you to the incredible and hard-working staff!!"

"We had a fantastic time staying at the villa. It is ideally positioned, preferable to other apartments overlooking the restaurant or the bay. It is peaceful and private with only the sound of birdsong from the surrounding gardens. We had fantastic views of the sunset which we never tired of. The hosts sent us useful information about shopping and car rental which we appreciated and were very quick to respond to any queries. We liked their thoughtful touches like a set of binoculars to watch the passing fishing boats and the frigate birds dive for fish and a Dive Curacao reference book. We dived 5 times with Bahia Diving and would recommend them. We found Playa Lagun bay to be the best for snorkelling in the area and it's a 2 minutes walk to the bay and Dive shop. We also drove to other beaches and hiked Mount Christoffel. We hope to return one day to this gem in Curacao."

"When I found this listing I thought there has to be something wrong with it, it just looked too good to be true. It was just as described! That view!!! The view from the back porch and balcony is mesmerizing! The only thing I could possibly say could be better would be upgrade the master mattress. Scott was awesome with helpful information and the caretaker Ivy was very sweet!"

"The property was immaculate and exactly what my wife and I wanted. The bedroom and kitchen had an A/C that worked wonderfully. It had everything we needed. The porch was great for breakfast and a cat adopted us and would keep us company when we were out on the patio. The pool was steps from the apartment and the beach was a 5 minute stroll. We snorkeled and saw countless fish. There were two restaurants very close by that had great food and wonderful service. If you are there on a Wednesday be sure to go to Discover Lagun restaurant. they do an all you can eat dinner with tuna, sirloin, shrimp, pork, chicken and ribs. I ate til it hurt. The apartment was super clean and the woman that checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. While it was 30-40 minutes from Willemstad it was nice to be "out in the country" when we came back to the apartment. Every morning I would take a two minute stroll to the cliff overlooking the bay and enjoy the view. It was absolutely incredible! I didn't want to leave and I will definitely go back when I have the opportunity."

"We had a wonderful time at Sol Patch. The bedroom, bathroom and outdoor kitchen were exceptionally clean and well decorated. The shared outside space was nice. And the patio, deck was so relaxing. We really enjoyed their sweet dogs that were waiting to greet us every morning. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things that I wasn't super happy with was, it didn't feel very private. I was thinking the house was separate from their home, but it really wasn't. We could hear every time they moved around the house and I'm sure they could hear us. The bedroom window has a light curtain on it and faces their front porch/ living room. So no waking around naked. Lol The home is also a pretty good drive from Willemstad, about 45 minutes. The traffic is not fun to drive in. So we rarely drove into town. It's also very warm there and my husband was told to not run the AC when we left. So we would only turn it on at night. It just didn't feel very comfortable. All in all a good trip. Owners were so nice and accommodating. Especially when both of us got a viral infection while we were there and had no idea how to get meds. Ugh!! Thank goodness for her magic box of random meds. The home is also very close to a lot of restaurants and beaches. We rented a car and driving around was no issue, minus the crazy round abouts. I've never seen so many in my entire life."

"Neat, tidy and clean. We had everything we needed and more. The property was very nice and quiet. We loved being ocean front and seeing the birds and iguanas everyday. We had a rental car so it was a great location. Had lots of beaches to choose from that we’re only a short drive away. Don’t hesitate to visit the more local grocery stores. We found them to have a pretty good selection of supplies and a bit cheaper than the fancier grocery stores. Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"What an incredible place. Breathtaking views and Sunsets. Amazing diving and the most perfect waters you can imagine. The house was quiet, well appointed and appears very recently renovated and freshly painted. We had everything we needed on the property. Markets and groceries can be found a short car ride away. Lagun is in the perfect place to explore the northern half of the island. Many epic beaches, hiking, and exploring. We loved every minute of it! "
