"Wow. This property is in such a great location, walking distance to the beach, fabulous snorkeling within a few minutes walk. The onsite restaurant is good and there are a few more within 10ish minutes drive. The condo has everything you need to be comfortable - all while enjoying the great view and sound of the waves at night. The A/C works well, but honestly we didn't use it much at all, the breeze kept us cool! The kitchen is updated and we were able to cook a few times as well. If it's open, book it!!"

"The property is a slice of paradise! The island itself is not what you would describe as tropical, very arid with thorny bushes and cactus. However, within the complex, the owner has created a lush, colorful tropical space with palm trees, fountains, pools and bubble spa. If overlooks the ocean from a steep coral cliff, which is the view we had every morning when we woke. It is quiet, serene and safe, with the owners on site and super friendly! "

"It’s a relaxing place. We got everything we need in our apartment. We liked the pool and the proximity to the beach. The beds could have been more confortable. Overall we recommend this place. "

"Snorkeling right off the back deck was great. Sleeps six comfortably. However, it needs enough places for 6 people to sit while watching tv. Also the kitchen needs at least 6 plates and 6 sets of silverware. The bedroom tvs did not work with the remotes given. Couldn’t figure out the cable. Location was perfect and great restaurant close by. Grocery stores were close, but you need a car. The keys were tricky. Three sets but only one opened front and back door. The lights did not all work. Overall it was a great place to stay, with a few changes it would be perfect."

"The condo is in a very quiet, remote location of the island. Playa Lagun is a very small beach on the lagun. The beach itself is rocky, without the trademark white sands, but it is convenient to have so close. There are lots of fish to see along the cliff walls. The complex felt very safe, the pool was kept clean and the views were amazing. So fun to see the iguanas and lizards and birds every day. The sunsets were incredible, right from the condo! Be aware, there are mosquitos about!!The condo itself was very clean, in very good condition, with a comfortable bed. It was lovely to have 2 full bathrooms. The stairs are a little narrow and steep, but doable! The kitchen had everything you need for a simple meal and we appreciated the pitcher of cold water in the fridge and the other extras in the kitchen. The air conditioners were amazing, and cooled the place very fast. Karin was very responsive and helpful to our inquiries and wanted our stay to be wonderful. The area is quiet and it is nice to have 2 restaurant options within a 3 minute walk. A full grocery store is quite a ways away, FYI. But there are many beautiful beaches within 25 minutes! And the Christoffel Mountain hike and Shete Boka park were close and very fun adventures!If you want to be away from the city life and have a quiet lovely beach vacation, this is a great spot!"

"Overall, we had a wonderful time! The view and private pool were fabulous. We used the pool daily as the yard is in direct sun all afternoon and can get very hot. Direct ocean access and snorkeling!! located at the quieter end of the island which we preferred. Close to a number of beautiful beaches and a few restaurants (1-10min driving) but further from a decent grocery store, which we knew ahead of time and took turns making trips. The place slept 10 people comfortably with plenty of bathrooms. Very clean! Quiet neighborhood. Some necessities we felt were missing:Hand towels for the bathrooms, wash cloths, and kitchen towels. We had one shower and one beach towel each that were used daily and couldn’t be spared for kitchen use. Definitely not enough toilet paper for 9 people (and we are not over users).The master suite was amazing but did not have a fitted sheet. Instead, a regular flat sheet covered the mattress and often needed adjusting or the mattress would become exposed. We would have loved balcony furniture to enjoy the balcony. extra info:Although they were respectful and appeared to try and make themselves scarce, there were some people doing construction next door. Not the end of the world but it did take away from the relaxing atmosphere a little. It also left debris on our chairs, in the pool and around the patio that were a little sharp if stepped on. Not a deal breaker to us, but may have been to others. "
