"We loved this inn. Francis was very helpful and friendly. The room is great with a kitchenette with hotplate, microwave and fridge/ freezer. The breakfast was great and good size portions. We used the pool which was very clean and was right outside our room. This in is within 10-15 minutes of most places in the western area of Curacao, We found it very convenient to drive to places we wanted to go to. We would recommend this spot to others. "This property is gorgeous! The grounds are atunning with flowers, trees, coral croppinga of areas to lounge lookong out over the sea, and a lovely bubbler bath. "Hotel review: the property was absolutely beautiful!! Hospitality was very accommodating. During our stay Derrick was able to make sure we had everything we needed while at the bar area and gave us great information about what activities to do locally. Adrienne was so helpful when our flight got delayed numerous times she was able to accommodate us for another night. Second stay - just as nice

"Very quiet and private location. We love having different options for outside seating, there's always a spot to stay out of the sun or wind. Snorkeling off the back of the property is marvelous but depends on the weather. Watch for a calm day or get up early before the wind kicks up. House is supplied with salt and pepper and a couple spices, as well as a "starter" supply of dishwasher and laundry tabs (3 each). If you cook a lot, like we do, expect to buy your basics like oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. I brought some extra dishwasher and laundry soap so that I didn't need to buy a whole box and leave most of it behind. Bed is comfortable and AC works really well....cools the room fast and keeps it cool, even on an eco setting. Appreciate the fabulous shower with thermostatic controls which help to save on water, which is very expensive on the island. We hope to return to stay here! "

Great location

"We loved this apartment and were excited to explore like a local. View was amazing! Very clean and we loved the games for the family. If cooking, be aware there are limited dishes. Combo clothing washer/dryer was a nice option but we could never figure out how to dry the clothes. 2 tvs were in the apartment however only 1 worked and required an apple subscription to use. Power goes out quite often on the island. Would be nice to have a few fans. We loved The location and the quiet beach onsite. "

"Nice location. Comfortable setting. Beautiful view. House was nice. Nice pool.There were many problems.Check-in person called rental agent. They didn't even recognize my name and it took forever to check-in.First day called for a few different questions and maintenance. We were told they would send someone the next day. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Without maintenance we had no pool skimmer. We wanted to know where to turn on the pool lights. One bedroom had smoke detector constantly beeping. We did have a few other questions, but no one answered us.We rented four bedrooms (which cost me more) and after the first night we had to switch up rooms because there was a horrible smell in one of the rooms. (sewer/mildew smell.)The freezer that works is in the laundry room, not in the kitchen. Kitchen freezer does not work.Parking isn't the best with elderly folks.If you have one of the two main bedrooms, just be very cautious when you use the restroom. If you have the curtain open, everyone can see you sitting on the toilet. A VERY BIG CAUTION: floors are extremely slippery when wet. That means the SHOWERS also. My elderly father slipped, hit the shutter and broke it. We had to pay for that of course. I understand that. Just be careful.This stay could have been much better with communication from the staff."

Family Time

"Family mini-vacation the week before Christmas in there premium villas with a pool. Check in was seemless and the front desl staff was friendly and accommodating. The villa was chic and private and just the right setting for our family. The onsite restaurant, Karakter had delicous gf breakfast offerings and desserts! I did not have the chance to sample their gf pizza, because they were out of gf pizza dough, but check in with them in the mornings to find out what they have available if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity. Please be patient, as all of the food at all of the restaurants is prepared fresh and takes time. The villa was well appointed and pretty clean. We loved having our private apartment upstairs in a separate unit from out 2 young adult chldren who had an entire unit to themselves downstairs. Morning views of both the pool and ocean from our 2nd story terrace were amazing. Truly relaxing."

A Sunset and Birders Paradise

"Casa Flamboyan is a lovely place to spend a holiday. The open layout of the kitchen/living/outdoor area is spacious and offers many different places to sit. The sun sets right in front over the ocean and you can only see nature from the pool. The property is mostly private with mature trees on both sides.There are a variety of songbirds who live there and spend days around the property. There's also lots of beautifully colored iguanas roaming around. There is a stairway to the resort center and restaurants a short walk from the property. We loved not driving and having an after dinner walk. The one thing that I did not love was the mattresses. It's outdated and firm. I actually wouldn't rent here again based on this as sleep on vacation is so important to me. Also, the second bathroom is outdated. It may work for children but it would not be great you're sharing with another couple. In addition, the second bedroom has no view as it is on the road side of the house. "

"Pros:Super nice property; really liked deck & pool area as well as overall layout and architecture of the home.Very secure gated community; well maintained properties, clean and beautifully landscaped throughout.Fantastic view of the ocean.Well equipped kitchen.Away from the city and close to several nice beaches.Cons:The heat made it slightly uncomfortable at times as the breeze didn’t cool down the house much and there is only one ceiling fan (in living room).No beach/pool towels.Foam mattresses throughout (may be a pro for those who like very firm mattresses). Sheets only. No quilts or throws for beds.No microwave."
