"For a quiet or romantic getaway, the seclusion from society and inclusion in nature's beauty is unmatchable. Seriously, this place is hard to believe. Necessities and conveniences not far or hard to get to. Don & Angie are the most personable hosts one could ask for. Will be there for you as much as you want or need, but 100% solitude is what you'll get if that's what you want. Its really hard to describe in words how nice this place is, how well appointed and thought out it is, how beautifully decorated and constructed it is. For a small place, it feels huge, with more separate areas to hang out in, eat at, lounge in than you would expect. If this place is on your list, move it to the top. I have stayed at many many vrbo/airb&b places and they typically are a let down from the photos and descriptions. This place is the opposite; a true under-promise, over-deliver situation. Thanks to Don & Angie for sharing this amazing place with the world. And folks, have Eviline come make dinner for you. She is able to provide hard-to-find organic ingredients, fresh ingredients from her farmers and from her own garden. She has 30 years experience as a chef and make the most delicious dinner paired with wines, then serves you like you are in a restaurant while you watch the most beautiful sunsets. I can't say enough about this place and am feeling sad writing this because our trip is over. Go check it out and have the most relaxing time ever! Bon Bini !!!!!"

"The summary of the place was absolutely accurate. We walked in and it looked exactly like the pictures. We were so thrilled with the location. The inside is small but perfectly functional. HUGE canopy bed with a comfortable mattress, washroom with shower and a smaller kitchen w all the needed amenities. We cooked and lived outside though. The outdoor grill worked great. We got groceries near the airport on the way there and were impressed with the Centrum store. The beef and fish were less expensive then home! The best part of the place was the huge outdoor deck that overlooked the sea. Absolutely beautiful views. We saw some people complained about seeing cruise ships but they are only occasional and miles away! Kind of enjoyed watching them. We even saw a sea turtle one morning from the deck. The birds became our little friends. We are not sun worshippers and when it got hot, we would just move under the canopy or go down to the private pool/covered terrace. Spent two full days there! beautiful breeze off the ocean to cool down. When in the pool you felt like you were almost in the ocean it was so close. And we snorkelled every day right off the dock. I scuba dive and have dove in many places around the world - was totally impressed with the reef, drop off, abundance and variety of fish there. There is a private beach just next door which was pretty cool. Also a paid beach resort if you feel like that vibe also 2 minute drive. We will return!"

"Overall, this is a great property. There were several scheduled maintenance items that had to be fixed while we were there, so we had to be gone multiple times. It was difficult to communicate with the company to determine accurate times when things would be taken care of. Due to this, our plans changed multiple times, to accommodate the workers. The location of the house was great, and overall, it was a good stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The home is just as described. HUGE! IMO, it can accommodate more than 10 people. The three women that oversee the property were incredibly nice and responsive. We never had any issues. The only thing I would address For anyone that reads every review like I do is there is a lack of bedding and towels. We only had a party of 7 and there were only 7 towels. So if there were 10 People there weren’t even enough. The bedding was just a duvet cover (sans the insert which was folded in the closet) there was no top sheet and only Two pillows per bed. In all the rooms besides the master there was a cold weather fitted sheet that made sleeping uncomfortable even with the room air on. Aside from that we had an amazing time. Please note that even on a map, cas abao is further from “town” than it appears. We didn’t mind but thought others should know! Thank you so much to the lovely ladies!"

"Pros: AMAZING view, you can hear the ocean rolling, easy check in, clean & spacious house, great A/C in bedrooms, washer & dryer, clothes line, 2 showers. The gated community made us feel very safe, although there were zero safety concerns. This location is perfect in my opinion due to it's proximity to great places on the island. We really enjoyed beaces: Cas Abao, Playa Jeremi, Grote Knip, and swimming with the turtles at Playa Piscado (DONT TOUCH them!). It was about the same distance into down town- around 25 minutes. Get a massage and the dutch bitterballen meat balls at Cas Abao beach!! Cons: The beach access at the house is extremely rocky (coral), and the stairs are very steep. The access to the beach is not suitable for anyone who is not in good physical condition. THE BUGS! This has nothing to do with the property itself, but be aware of the bugs. I had dozens of bites. Take vitamin B1 for a week or two before your trip- trust me. Be aware of the Manchineel trees, they are poisonous and dangerous. Ask me how I know! We would happily stay here again! We traveled with adults and kids age 6, 7, & 9. They loved all of the crabs here!"
