"We were 3 couples that visited this property. We have been going away together for a few years now - and this property was BY FAR the BEST we have stayed at. Communications with the host was always responsive, timely and precise - helped with boat tours, car rentals and even a private chef we coordinated for one evening. The property was amazing and exactly as shown in the pictures - we enjoyed the VIEW so much we spent most of the days at the villa and didnt even bother going to the beaches (except the one right there at Cas Abao).The villa comfortably kept all 6 of us - and even had an extra powder room in the main hall way. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked (for a rental) and had all the amenities. Two of the bedrooms also had outdoor showers. One thing to note was that there were no doors to the ensuite bathrooms separating from the main bedroom area.Cas Abao is a ways from Willemstaad (30 min) - so you do need a transfer or a car to get around - but there is a beach, grocery store and some restaurants close by.As this was a new rental property there were a few minor things we left a note for the host to consider and if there were any issues with the property during our stay the host took care of it immediately.We would highly recommend staying here - it is perfect and we hope we can return to the villa and the island on another trip !!!!!"

"My wife and I just returned from Curacao after a week stay at this amazing oceanfront cottage. First, the pictures do not do it justice. All pictures are accurate. It is directly on the water. The oceanfront plunge pool was great and we watched multiple sunsets from there. We did scuba diving right off the property and saw 2 octopi, squids, numerous fish and eels. The place was perfect size of us, king size bed, shower with great water pressure (a plus for me), and a full kitchen. The host was very communicative. Gave great recommendations.Would highly recommend."

"Very quiet and private location. We love having different options for outside seating, there's always a spot to stay out of the sun or wind. Snorkeling off the back of the property is marvelous but depends on the weather. Watch for a calm day or get up early before the wind kicks up. House is supplied with salt and pepper and a couple spices, as well as a "starter" supply of dishwasher and laundry tabs (3 each). If you cook a lot, like we do, expect to buy your basics like oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. I brought some extra dishwasher and laundry soap so that I didn't need to buy a whole box and leave most of it behind. Bed is comfortable and AC works really well....cools the room fast and keeps it cool, even on an eco setting. Appreciate the fabulous shower with thermostatic controls which help to save on water, which is very expensive on the island. We hope to return to stay here! "

"We loved this apartment and were excited to explore like a local. View was amazing! Very clean and we loved the games for the family. If cooking, be aware there are limited dishes. Combo clothing washer/dryer was a nice option but we could never figure out how to dry the clothes. 2 tvs were in the apartment however only 1 worked and required an apple subscription to use. Power goes out quite often on the island. Would be nice to have a few fans. We loved The location and the quiet beach onsite. "

"Nice location. Comfortable setting. Beautiful view. House was nice. Nice pool.There were many problems.Check-in person called rental agent. They didn't even recognize my name and it took forever to check-in.First day called for a few different questions and maintenance. We were told they would send someone the next day. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Without maintenance we had no pool skimmer. We wanted to know where to turn on the pool lights. One bedroom had smoke detector constantly beeping. We did have a few other questions, but no one answered us.We rented four bedrooms (which cost me more) and after the first night we had to switch up rooms because there was a horrible smell in one of the rooms. (sewer/mildew smell.)The freezer that works is in the laundry room, not in the kitchen. Kitchen freezer does not work.Parking isn't the best with elderly folks.If you have one of the two main bedrooms, just be very cautious when you use the restroom. If you have the curtain open, everyone can see you sitting on the toilet. A VERY BIG CAUTION: floors are extremely slippery when wet. That means the SHOWERS also. My elderly father slipped, hit the shutter and broke it. We had to pay for that of course. I understand that. Just be careful.This stay could have been much better with communication from the staff."

"Family mini-vacation the week before Christmas in there premium villas with a pool. Check in was seemless and the front desl staff was friendly and accommodating. The villa was chic and private and just the right setting for our family. The onsite restaurant, Karakter had delicous gf breakfast offerings and desserts! I did not have the chance to sample their gf pizza, because they were out of gf pizza dough, but check in with them in the mornings to find out what they have available if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity. Please be patient, as all of the food at all of the restaurants is prepared fresh and takes time. The villa was well appointed and pretty clean. We loved having our private apartment upstairs in a separate unit from out 2 young adult chldren who had an entire unit to themselves downstairs. Morning views of both the pool and ocean from our 2nd story terrace were amazing. Truly relaxing."
