By far our favourite stay on the island! The family-like nature and the care that Orlando and Joyce put into the place is outstanding. Our sunset swims every evening were a highlight because of the ocean access and location of the property. Could not recommend more highly!

This place is an absolute gem!! The owners live right on the property and were very welcoming, even to my parents who were staying at the neighboring property. Our fridge wasn't working the first day and they addressed it right away and brought us a new fridge. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the views spectacular. I hope to go back one day!!

The grounds of this property are spectacular and peaceful. The lack of AC on the main floor of the units is not ideal, but not insurmountable if you use the large stand up fan and open the doors to let the breese in. The kitchen could use some new plates and cups, as these are sparse, but otherwise it has everything you need to cook for yourself, if you chose to. We brought coals and used one of the availaable bbqs, but they also have dinner available in a pretty lit area by the pool. The owners are lovely and went out of their way to please everyone and did a beach hoping boat tour with us and to see the blue room which was great. They were always available if needed. It was a great stay.

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT MODERN, WATER MIGHT BE COLD NOT AC EXCEPT IN ROOMS BUT I PERSONALLY GROWED UP THIS WY AND I LOVED TO LIVE THE SAME EXPERIENCED AND REMEBER WHEN I WAS YOUNGER MY KIDS LOVED IT TOO. I really wanted to love this place but too many cons outweigh the pros. Pros,The staff are friendly and very helpful. Location is absolutely paradisiac and magical. The view from the premium apartment balcony was magical. The fact that the property was steps from Playa Lugun was amazing and their private access to clear waters and wonderful snorkeling was incredible. The bed was comfortable. Cons, the apartment (#19) is very OUTDATED, along with the furniture, where there were visible stains on the couch that I was deterred from sitting on them and unable to enjoy the living room, plus thereā€™s NO A/C and it gets extremely hot (only upstairs in the bedroom and if you go over 15 kw / day youā€™ll be charged ). The bath mats had stains on them. The upstairs sliding door grates and is hard to open. The fan in the living room was extremely dirty and dusty, but when I asked for it to be cleaned it was instantly cleaned, along with the very smelly bathroom upstairs, (they immediately put chemicals in the toilets and sinks to remove the smell). The kitchen is old and I felt I had to wash anything before I used it. If youā€™re looking for a great location with magical views and wonā€™t be spending much time in your room, this is the place. But if youā€™re looking to relax in a clean apartment without worrying about using too much electricity and A/C and with ocean views, there are other options at a better rate.

STUNNING. We stayed here for five days and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere of the resort is extremely relaxing with lush greenery, 2 pools and amazing views of the ocean. There was an awesome platform that we jumped off of to snorkel near the coral. Walking distance to playa lagun, 10-20 minute drive to other stunning beaches (grote knipe was our favorite and only 10 mins away). The 2 bath-1 bed apartments were a little outdated, as there was no AC on the bottom floor, but we didnā€™t stay in the apartment much so it didnā€™t matter. The bedroom had air condition that was sufficient enough. The only con to note: throwing toilet paper into garbage can instead of toilet. But, understandable. There is also a loving black cat that they rescued who roams the resort freely. Everyone is welcoming- especially Manu at the reception desk! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pros: This property is right on the edge of the water, with some of the most breathtaking views I have seen. The pool is gorgeous. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The place is quiet and easy-going. There are some cute cats around. Cons: The only room with air conditioning is the bedroom, and itā€™s pretty hot in the other areas, to the point that we didnā€™t use them much. We didnā€™t get hot water in the shower, though it was tolerable. The bed wasnā€™t particularly comfortable for us. It is really firm. The bathroom connected to our room was smelly as well. Overall, we had a nice visit, and would stay again if it hadnā€™t been too hot with no air conditioning in the living spaces or bathrooms.

My mom and I visited CuraƧao for my 35th birthday. The first two nights we stayed in Willemstad and I honestly wish weā€™d gone straight to Lagun Blou. The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Itā€™s really quiet and peaceful (we were there in June) and we loved going down to the best local beaches (all about 5-15 min away). If you are looking for a super ā€œresortyā€ Sandals type deal, this isnā€™t itā€”Lagun blou is way better. Our room didnā€™t have a tv and we didnā€™t care. The view, the stairway into the sea with amazing snorkeling, the jacuzzi on the cliff were all better than any tv show. The resort is gated and parking lot is big. There are several sweet cats that roam around and many large iguanas! The only thing that bummed us out was the pool needed vacuuming, but we spent most of our time at the beach. We ate at the local restaurants or cooked in our apartment. I loved it here and would return over and over.

Just a lovely environment! Great attention by hosts and staff to creating and maintaining this special place and to providing highly professional service. Brought back memories of stays in Europe and the Mediterranean. Cliffs to dive from, lots of beautiful fish to see in clear refreshing blue waters, hummingbirds feeding on the many flowering bushes, warm fresh breads and great coffee for breakfast, cool shady spots for reading,clean pools for soaking, an experienced and interesting dive master, nearby beach used by local families as well as tourists - what not to enjoy! While restaurants in walking distance are not fancy, you can get nice grilled fresh fish, salads and wine. We highly recommend Lagun Blou!

Everything was fantastic . Owners were great . Only drawbacks were no screens against mosquitoes but it's normally rare to have them . Just alot of recent rain I guess. It's on our list of will visit agains šŸ˜
