"Our stay at Puerto Azul Hotel Y Club Nautico was good overall. They accommodated our very late check-in at 1:30 am, which was appreciated since our flight was late getting into San Jose. The breakfast was good, and we also attended a boat tour to Tortuga Island, which departed directly from the docks at the hotel, which was very convenient. "The views and the private beach feel is why you stay at this property! The house has some quirks but when I go on vacation to Costa Rica, I’m wanting to be outside. We saw monkeys and macaws as well which was an added bonus. Hosts were great communicators and also recommended a masseuse that came to the house which was a great experience. "

"So we had a terrible occurrence, Due to NO control, and natural flooding in fort lauderdale , all our fights were canceled and couldn't make the trip. We had their JACO tour agent ask if we can get credit for the night we lost if we can make it there and if we can get the difference back from the 12 people that were NOT able to attend . AND the owner SAID NO. We wish we could have seen the property but working with the owner wasnt helpful at all"

"Thank you very much to Edgardo for accommodating my room request. The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed the pools, buffet for meals, the hotel atmosphere, and the staff who were friendly, flexible, and warm. I would highly recommend Best Western if you are staying in Jaco."

This hotel is a gem.

"Perfect place for a family in this somewhat young, single tourist beach town. The beach down here is sandy and more toward the north has a lot of rock, so very happy with the location. Casually set up a surf lesson with the company right outside the hotel. The hotel had a lot of beautiful plants throughout the rooms. It was old school, but in the best possible way. This is my ideal kind of hotel."
