"The beach and area around the hotel is gorgeous. Manglar next door was amazing for dinner but the Mexican in the hotel and pool food was perfect! Casino is pretty and quaint, u can walk to Jaco town but transportation is so easy! Clean room nice people. Enjoyed it"

The staff were all so helpful and kind, and Jose was wonderful and especially helpful answering all our questions and providing many recommendations. We would love to come back someday!"

"This is my 3rd trip to Balcon Del Mar. ( in the middle of a name change to Paradise Jaco Beach). I love that it’s right on the sand. It’s a small resort and by then end of the week you know the staff, they are wonderful. Breakfast every morning included is also nice. "

"Have stayed here before several times and they have done and are continuing to do a lot of improvements. The entire staff from checking in , kitchen and wsit staff, grounds crew have all been very friendly and efficient. The grounds crew does a fantastic job of keeping the jungle and it's critters from literally taking over. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen just walking around and exploring the grounds. The food and beverages have all been very good. I'm staying in 1 of the 2 Tree House rooms and would higjly recommend choosing these rooms. Their balcony"s literally look over the Tarcolito stream and the jungle across the stream is alive with squaking Parrots and Macaws. Truly one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica."

"Is not a fancy hotel. however, has everything you need, clean, good air conditioning and hot water. Pool is perfect, walk easy to the beach. Restaurant and bar near the pool. The restaurant has good food but not a big selection but you always can order out to be deliver. Do not let the entrance turn you off. Is a really good small hotel."
