"We arrived around 6pm on a Saturday night. The bar was rammed, and noisy, and we had reservations about whether to stay or not. But then the manager took us up to our room, and there was no way we were going anywhere! We had booked the suite, which has a lounge area plus bedroom area, a bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower, and even a dressing room. It was beautiful - so welcoming - we genuinely couldn't fault it. The bed was comfortable too. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning, so when I enquired about what to do with the key as we would be leaving before breakfast, the manager rustled up a continental breakfast for us, which he brought up to our room just a few minutes later. Granola, fresh fruit, croissant and jam. It was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We had dinner in the restaurant too - which was much quieter than the bar area - and the food was great. If we were in the area again we would hesitate to stay here."

"Tried to review taking into account the price. It was a good location to break the journey. I arrived very late, reception lady helped me take bags to room as no lift. Very big room. Run down but clean and warm. Big bathroom with bath clean Thing i didnt like on leaving the cleaners looked like a family man wife and kid opened my door no english, didnt like the way they were not knocking wouldn't have felt safe. I asked the way out, asked if they spoke english and the kid young boy insulted me. I wouldnt have stayed another day with them hanging around."

"Easy check in , evening meal reasonably priced and a lovely meal .We could have asked at reception for more towels for bathroom but only one bath towel and hand towel Lovely white towels clean and soft for 2 people.Overall good visit"
